Nepal Geological Students’ Society is a non-profitable organization, established in 1990 A.D. whose office resides in Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal, and was formally registered in 2014 A.D. in District Administration Office Kathmandu. The society consists of MSc Geology, and MSc Engineering Geology studying students from Central Department of Geology (CDG) and Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus Ghantaghar, Kathmandu as members and BSC Geology 4th year studying students from Central Campus of Technology (CCT) Campus,Dharan, Prithivi Narayan (P.N) Campus, Pokhara, Birendra M. Campus, Chitwan & Tri-Chandra M. Campus, Kathmandu. The society’s aim is to amalgamate the students of geology from all over the country to work together in the rights and interests towards the betterment of the geology field. NGSS works towards increasing knowledge about geoscience among the public, stakeholders, and students at the various level with its various webinar, outreach, exhibition, training, and discussion programs.
