Prize Distribution Programme to the winners of NGSS Games 2024
The prize distribution program for the NGSS Games 2024 took place on October 1,2024, celebrating the achievements of participants in Boys and Girls Futsal, Scattergories, and Quiz games. The event, held at the Department, was a vibrant showcase of talent and teamwork, reflecting the commitment of NGSS to foster a well-rounded educational environment.
Chaired by esteemed figures in academia and community leadership, including Prof. Dr. Dhyanendra Bahadur Rai (Principal, TU) , Mr. Churna Bahadur Wali (President, NGS) , Prof. Dr. Dinesh Pathak (HOD, CDG) , and Mr. Shyam Raj Ojha (President, FSU) , the ceremony highlighted the importance of sports and intellectual pursuits in student development.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Dhyanendra Bahadur Rai emphasized the role of games in nurturing teamwork and discipline. “These activities not only enhance physical fitness but also build critical life skills. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for our students to excel both on and off the field,” he stated.
Mr. Churna Bahadur Wali expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers, noting the impressive turnout and enthusiasm surrounding the events. “The spirit of competition we witnessed this year has been truly inspiring. The games featured fierce competition, with teams showcasing their skills in Futsal, demonstrating agility and teamwork, while the Scattergories and Quiz games tested participants’ creativity and knowledge. Prof. Dr. Dinesh Pathak took the opportunity to highlight the academic benefits of such events. “Engagement in games and quizzes not only sharpens the mind but also prepares students for future challenges. We must continue to support such initiatives that promote a balanced education,” he said.
Mr. Shyam Raj Ojha concluded the speeches by urging the students to remain committed to their studies while also participating in extracurricular activities. “Both academics and sports are vital for your overall growth. We are here to support you in every step of your journey,” he affirmed.
